Wellbeing and Disability Services
Find out more about the support at the University for those times when you might find it harder to manage your wellbeing or if you have on-going mental health issues, a specific learning difficulty, a physical or sensory impairment, a long-term medical condition or an autistic spectrum condition.

Support with finances
Careers and Employability
The University of Huddersfield Careers Service supports all our current undergraduate and postgraduate students and graduates. We are here to help you with any aspect of employability.
Student Finance
The Student Finance team offer advice and guidance on fees and living costs while at university, including applications to Student Finance England for financial support.

Huddersfield Students' Union exists to make student life better. It's a charity run by students for students, which means it's 100% focused on your interests, concerns and wellbeing.
The Enterprise Team
Help and support for students and graduates who are exploring self-employment, freelancing and business start-up.
Your Safer Student Officer
We have a dedicated member of the West Yorkshire Police stationed at the University of Huddersfield. It's their job to provide, advice, information and support.
Student accommodation
Huddersfield has great accommodation for students. We have a student accommodation office called 'HudLets' who work with halls of residences and private landlords to ensure students have access to high quality accommodation at a fair price during their studies.
All the Halls, Houses and Studios listed on the HudLets website are subject to a quality assessment and must achieve a minimum standard to provide you with the best. They don’t charge students any admin fees and all the deposits are protected within a deposit protection scheme. As well as this HudLets is here to provide support when booking your accommodation and beyond.
