Her research spans developmental neurobiology, glycobiology, and metabolic physiology, utilizing mammalian models and C. elegans. Her work focuses on glycosylated membrane proteins, including syndecan-3, FGF, and Klotho signaling.

Dr Nicholas McCaul
Senior Lecturer
Research spans flavivirus infections, including Dengue and Zika viruses. With a PhD from Utrecht University and postdoctoral work at Harvard, his expertise spans oxidative protein folding, immune responses, and nanobody development to combat viral infections.

Dr Anke Brüning-Richardson
Senior Lecturer
Anke has spent her research career working on diseases of veterinary and medical importance applying latest cutting-edge technologies to understand disease mechanisms for improved diagnosis or treatment.
