Welcome to Geography here at the University of Huddersfield. We’re a dynamic and innovative teaching and research environment within the School of Applied Sciences. We pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching and our tutors care about what you achieve. Our Geography BSc(Hons), Human Geography BSc(Hons) and Physical Geography BSc(Hons) are accredited by the Royal Society of Geography, and our Environmental and Analytical Science BSc(Hons) course is accredited by the Committee of Heads of Environmental Sciences (CHES), the education committee of the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES). You'll have the opportunity to learn about many aspects of geography including gaining hands-on experience. Fieldwork is an integral part of any geographers training, so we've embedded field trips into all three of our Geography degree courses. Our main goal is to enthuse you about your subject and provide you with the opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to enable you to enjoy a rewarding and fulfilling career after you graduate. What's more our Geography BSc(Hons) course achieved an overall satisfaction score of 100% in the National Student Survey 2022.
