Welcome to Drama, Theatre and Performance here at the University of Huddersfield. Studying with us will allow you to hone your skills as a performer, director, writer and workshop practitioner, and explore the broad church of contemporary drama and performance, as well as the nature of historical performance practice. We teach through practice and the practical application of ideas, we’ll assess you not only on what you know, but in the creative application of that knowledge. We’re not interested in a ‘house style’ – we’re more interested in helping you to develop your own individual creativity and to understand how to use that to produce intelligent, innovative and thoughtful work.
