Students' Union
Huddersfield Students’ Union (SU) is all about you. Your entertainment, your interests, your views, your hobbies and so much more.
It’s a charity run by students for students and exists to make your life better. Much more information along with how to get involved can be found on the Huddersfield SU’s website.

Sports and societies
Sports clubs, societies and opportunities to volunteer – there is an activity group for every interest from the American Football Team through to Games Development and Salsa dancing. Take a look through over 110 sports clubs and societies to see what’s currently available.
However, if you’ve seen the long list of activities and haven’t found what you’re looking for then you can always set up your own group.
Also, there are 60 global societies that you can get involved with for free. No matter what your nationality these societies are free and open to all students to join in with.
If you're looking for a gym or fitness class then meet Team Hud, our friendly sport and fitness team. They manage the sports facilities at Huddersfield including the fitness suite, sports hall, squash court and purpose-built studios.
