Applicant Visit Days are the best way to find out everything about studying your chosen course at the University of Huddersfield.

Our Applicant Visit Days are taking place between February and April 2025, and you’ll be sent an email to notify you when our booking system is open.

Applicant Visit Days are only open to our applicants and each subject puts on a tailor-made programme to give you the best opportunity to explore, question and confirm your course choice.

An Applicant Visit Day typically starts around 9am and runs through to 1.30pm depending on what activities you choose to take part in. On the day you can:

  • Hear about your course from the academic team with future classmates
  • Take part in activities related to your course
  • Chat with current students about their studies and get a feel for what student life in Huddersfield is like
  • Explore campus and accommodation options.

Our Applicant Visit Days are designed to give you a taste of what studying with us will be like and you’ll be given a programme for the day nearer the time.

You are welcome to attend with your parent/guardian.
