Course Leader for Lifelong Learning
Dr Gwyneth has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield since 2002, leading the Pre-service PGCE / Cert Ed (Lifelong Learning) programme and supporting post-graduate supervision. Previously, Gwyneth worked in libraries, administration, and Further Education, teaching local history, English, and adult literacy. She earned her Doctorate in Education in 2019, focusing on adult literacy.
The Department for Education provides financial support for trainee teachers on some pre-service lifelong learning subjects as a bursary. The eligibility requirements for financial support vary depending on your individual circumstances and the amount you can expect to receive will depend on the subject you choose to teach and your relevant academic qualifications. All bursaries are limited and on a first come first served basis.
