Lemn Sissay has been a regular visitor to the University of Huddersfield and in January 2018 he was invited to deliver the keynote address to third-year students on the Childhood Studies degree. During his visit, Lemn gave an interview where he talked about his project to bring Christmas to care leavers, his current writing, including his commission to write his autobiography, and his longing for a family. The interview can be seen below in three parts alongside an earlier video of Lemn reciting his poem ‘Let There Be Peace’ on campus when the poem was displayed in large letters on the outside of the University’s Creative Arts Building.
