Contemporary composer Rebecca Saunders received the award of Honorary Doctorate of the University of Huddersfield for services to contemporary music. Here, she talks to the University's Professor Aaron Cassidy about what inspires her compositions and her new work entitled Yes which premiered at this year's Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and was performed by Ensemble Musikfabrik.
