New Extension Request System

The new Extension Request system went live on Monday 18th September.

At this point, any previous ways in which extension requests have been administered was discontinued. 

The new system will make the application for extension systems more intuitive for students and should reduce workload in schools by removing the need to unpick and resolve the information on handwritten extension applications.

It will also record the number of self-assessed extensions that students have been granted and limit them to two self-assessed extensions per year in line with the University policy.

Please note that the University’s extension regulations and procedures have not changed.
