Next week, Registry, Academic Skills Tutors and the Students’ Union are coming together to run Academic Integrity Roadshows in each School, between 11.00am - 3.00pm:

  • Monday 16 October: Charles Sikes Building(Business/Education)
  • Monday 16 October: Spärck Jones Building (Computing and Engineering)
  • Tuesday 17 October: Harold Wilson Building (Human and Health Sciences)
  • Wednesday 18 October: Student Central
  • Thursday 19 October: Joseph Priestley Building (Applied Sciences)
  • Thursday 19 October: Barbara Hepworth Building (Arts and Humanities)

On Wednesday, the roadshow will take place in Student Central in conjunction with the IDOA International Day of Action for Academic Integrity.  This day of action is a global event with the theme of ‘Championing Academic Integrity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’, including webinars from staff and students across the day and time zones from 8.30am-10.30pm, together with a creative competition for students.  If you are interested, please do take a look at the range of activities on offer and register for a session.

Running in parallel to this international event, our awareness raising roadshows will provide an opportunity for students and staff to learn more about academic integrity, policy and procedure, study support and referencing skills, and discuss recent developments in generative artificial intelligence technology and much more!  We are also interested in hearing your feedback on raising further awareness and actively creating a culture of academic integrity across the University, so please do drop in for a chat!
