Marie Curie National Day of Reflection – Staff Choir Performance

Thursday 23rd March is a National Day of Reflection, organised by Marie Curie, the UK's leading end of life charity. This day is an opportunity to remember loved ones who’ve died, support people who are grieving, connect with each other and raise money for the charity.

To mark this day, the Staff Pop Choir will be performing in Student Central between 12:30 and 13:00. We will be raising money for the charity with a collection box and means to donate via contactless. We will also be selling knitted daffodil pin badges with all proceeds going to the charity.

So do come along to Student Central on the day to support us and donate. Also, if you are interested in joining the choir, it is a good opportunity to see us in action!

If you are affected by bereavement, our Staff Wellbeing Confidential Support service provides a self-help workbook on Bereavement. Staff can also access 24/7 confidential telephone counselling (03303 800658) from qualified and caring professionals. Or take a look at further resources on our dedicated bereavement section of the staff wellbeing webpages here.
