Health Innovation is a strategic priority for the University of Huddersfield. In a joint Huddersfield University / Huddersfield Civic Society public lecture Professor Liz Towns-Andrews (Professor of Innovation and Director of External Engagement at Huddersfield Business School) will describe University research and innovation activities targeted towards helping improve people’s health and wellbeing. Examples will highlight the use of new technologies and devices, digital products and tools, such as artificial intelligence and big data, and how these are changing patient support, allied health and workforce development.

The talk will also outline the vision and plans for the University’s new Health Innovation Campus to be located in the Centre of Huddersfield.

The talk is being planned as a hybrid event meaning that guests can attend in person to the event at the University or attend online. The event is free to attend but please do register your attendance, and select if you will be attending in person or online.
