As September approaches I just wanted to remind you all about VivUp, a brilliant source of information and support that is available to all employees.

The VivUp Employee Assistance Programme offers all staff:

  • Support, advice and information to help with your mental health and wellbeing.
  • 24/7 independent, confidential telephone counselling from appropriately qualified and caring professionals
  • An extensive range of self-help resources including a range of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) workbooks on topics such as anxiety, depression and low mood, bereavement, post-traumatic stress, self-harm, postnatal depression, sleeping problems and stress.

Access the self-help resources and find out more information.

You can find out more information about how to register for an account and access the full range of employee benefits.

Telephone Counselling

To access 24/7 confidential telephone counselling, you can call the helpline directly on 03303 800658 at any time and you don’t need to register for an online account before doing this.  You can use this service as many or as few times as you like, there is no limit on the support you can receive. The service is completely confidential, and nobody at the University will know that you have accessed this support.

Please take the time to have a look at the VivUp programme and explore the support available.  If you have any queries or comments about VivUp, please contact staff.wellbeing@hud.ac.uk
