Staff Car Parking on Campus

Please be aware that whilst we are currently providing access to free staff car parking on campus, there will be some changes whilst we assist the NHS. 

 

• Firth Street Car Park - For the weekend 17 and 18 October, this will be transformed in to a drive thru flu ‘jab’ station (Access to which will be via NHS).
• Firth Street Car Park will only be available for 3M staff/visitors.
• Queen Street South (only until 11 October)
• Queens Street South hire car parking area (very limited spaces)
• In front of Percy Shaw House (very limited spaces)
• Printworks Car Park

 

Other car parks available on these dates:

 

• Queen Street South Car Park - From 12 October until further notice, will be used to provide a Covid testing station (access to which will be via NHS).
• Firth Street (apart from the weekends identified in October)
• Queens Street South hire car parking area (very limited spaces)
• In front of Percy Shaw House (very limited spaces)
• Printworks Car Park

 

Additionally, for blue badge holders, there are disabled parking bays available in the following locations:

 

• Wakefield Road (underneath Student Central)
• St Paul’s Road
• Outside Edith Key

 

All parking will be on a first come/first served basis.

To reduce queues and speed up access, if you could send your name and pass number to door access and we will temporarily add car park access to your card.

FYI Kirklees Council are also providing free of charge parking in their car parks until the end of 2020.
