Huddersfield Business School celebrates its first Help to Grow Awards

Help to Grow awards

The Huddersfield Business School
held its first Help to Grow Awards ceremony earlier in the month to celebrate the incredible achievements of businesses from across the region.

Help to Grow Management is a government-backed twelve-week management programme designed to support senior managers of small and medium-sized businesses. By working with the Huddersfield Business School, businesses can boost their performance, resilience and long-term growth.

Participating businesses benefit from one-to-one support from an experienced business mentor, practical management training and gain access to a business network where they can learn from their peers and connect with other local business leaders.

Success within the local business community

The Programme Lead for Help to Grow, Stella Bowdell, commented: "The Help to Grow Management programme is not just a government initiative; it's a catalyst for transformation and success within our local business community. Congratulations to all the winners at Huddersfield Business School's Help to Grow Awards and Celebration! This event celebrates the remarkable achievements of those businesses who have taken part in our 12 week programme, and we are incredibly excited to see what comes next from them all."

This inaugural awards ceremony recognised the achievements of local business leaders and took place at Lu’s Place in Meltham (one of the Help to Grow 2023 award finalists).
