Games students awarded at this year’s Game Republic Student Showcase

Games students from the University of Huddersfield are celebrating several wins at this year’s Game Republic Student Showcase

The event, which was held at York St John’s University on Tuesday 7 June 2022, saw ten universities, each competing for awards across several categories.

33 projects were entered for awards including Best Team, Game Design and Game Art and Animation, with the team from Huddersfield bringing home 9 out of 15 awards.

Games Republic Winning Team — Joshua Prasser, Jason Berry-Hemmer and Daniel Haynes being presented the art award for Code Rain (1st Prize Games Art, 3rd Prize in Games Design, 3rd Prize in Games Audio) from Rebellion Games
