Shandong Normal University Visits HBS - Watch This Space

Professor John Anchor, Associate Dean (International) and Tony Wong from the International Office met Professor Sun Fengzhi, Dean of School of Travel and Tourism at Shandong Normal University (SNU). Professor Sun was in Huddersfield to visit her son during the Chinese New Year holiday. He is studying in our School of Art, Design and Architecture.  

The University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SNU which may lead to 2+2 and 3+1 progression to our Bachelor programmes. We also discussed our Master and PhD programmes. Some SNU staff might be interested in undertaking a PhD with HBS.  Tourism research seems to be an area where research collaboration would be possible.

John added: “SNU would welcome guest lecturers on their campus – all expenses paid! So it’s a case of “watch this space”!.
