The Canal Side Project

Our Canal Side Project team have been busy bees this term, working hard to tidy up the canal bank, making it a welcoming area for everyone!

This team consists of Foundation Students from Kirklees College who come and work alongside our dedicated grounds staff every Tuesday, completing grounds maintenance asks along the canal.

Each task is carried out for the mutual benefit of local wildlife, and members of the University who want to enjoy the outdoors!

The project was coordinated by Elsie Hargate, Environmental Coordinator who provided support and guidance to the students.
