…and its Amazon Tribes

A talk by Sue Cunningham – Tuesday 30 April – for the Huddersfield and Halifax Geographical Society and Royal Geographical Society in conjunction with the University’s Sustainable and Resilient Communities research cluster (part of SURGE).

The speaker, Sue Cunningham, is an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.  Her talk, entitled Heart of Brazil, will explore the lives of 48 indigenous tribal communities who live along the Xingu River, a tributary of the Amazon, in this beautiful area of Brazil.

The talk will be held in the Joseph Priestley Building in room JPG/18, starting at 7.15pm.  Admission to the talk is open to all and is free to GS members and students, and just £3 for visitors.
