After you've applied through Clearing

Your provisional Clearing offer

You should receive an email from the University immediately confirming you have been made a provisional offer and what you need to do next. If not please contact the Student Recruitment Team by emailing study@hud.ac.uk  

Accepting your offer 

If you are made a provisional offer that you wish to accept, you will need to log into your UCAS Hub and add this as your Clearing choice. Please only add a Clearing choice once you have been offered a place by the University. 

You can do this after 1pm on Results Day by logging on to UCAS Hub, clicking 'Add Clearing choice' and then filling in the course details by the date/time the University gave you on the phone. This counts as you definitely accepting the offer.  

If you are not already in UCAS, before you can add a Clearing Choice, you must make an application through UCAS. This will then enable you to add a Clearing choice.  

You will need our institution code which is H60, plus course details. 

Confirmation of your offer acceptance 

The University will then confirm your offer, and it'll show as an acceptance on UCAS Hub . 

You can only add one Clearing choice at a time, but if the University doesn't confirm your place, you'll be able to add another.
