Clearing banners - accross the website

Banners are used in various places accross the website to raise awareness of Clearing.

This page is to define a list of where those banners will be placed on the website. It also documents the process for switching over banners as Clearing has 3 different banner states.

Banner dimensions

  • Desktop = 1200x74px
  • Mobile = 1000x400/500px

Coursefinder

  • Desktop = 1140x190px
  • Mobile = 1000x400px

Coursefinder needs a block colour at either end of the banner so it will blend into the block colour on the page margins.

How to change the banners

Only 1 media library item should be used for the desktop and another for the mobile. The next banner should overide the media library item that is being used on the banners. This means that the banners don't need to be edited or touched, they will pull through the next banner when the media library item changes over.
