Inclusivity and Health Inequalities in Research

Inclusivity and Health Inequalities in Research

We were delighted to host the latest event in our webinar series showcasing nurse-led research in collaboration with NHS England. This webinar was in response to recommendations from attendees at the previous events, which you can access here.

The event was chaired by the School’s Dean, Professor Nick Hardiker, (PhD, RN, CMgr, FHEA, FACMI, FAAN) (@nickhardiker) and opened by Professor Mark Radford (@MRadford_HEECN), Deputy Chief Nursing Officer for England and Chief Nurse and Deputy CEO for Health Education England.

Three experienced researchers then explored gaps in our knowledge and the methods they are using to address these. Each presenter shared and analysed the early findings from their work in order to stimulate discussion on the implications for practice, service delivery, education, workforce development and well-being, and patient experience. The webinar ended with a Q&A in which the presenters answered questions posed by the audience and offered their advice on nurse-led research.
