Organ Scholarships

At the University of Hudderfield, we are proud to say we can offer scholarships to students who are wishing to study the organ as part of their Music or Music Performance degree. 

St Paul's Organ

St Paul's Hall is a beautifully converted Georgian church built in 1829 that now provides a venue for a range of concerts by student soloists, ensembles and guest artists and houses a 3-manual 41-stop tracker-action recital organ (1977)

Phipps Hall Organ

Phipps Hall, in the Music Department, is an intimate space appropriate for chamber music performance and is used by a very wide variety of musical events; it includes a recent Steinway Model D piano and a replica Baroque chamber organ

Music BMus(Hons)

Music is all about collaboration and experimentation, and our course gives you opportunities to get involved with groups and ensembles both large and small. We’ll encourage you to carry out your own creative projects and research to develop your transferable skills.

Music Performance BMus(Hons)

This course is designed for expert performers, with a passion for performing across a variety of styles and contexts. You’ll be taught by expert academic staff, many of whom are professional performers with active international careers as soloists or ensemble members.
