A truly international community
Applied Sciences in Huddersfield is a truly international community with our undergraduate, postgraduate and research students representing over 50 nationalities, and academic staff hailing from 15 different countries. The University has previously been voted number 1 in the world for student satisfaction in the International Student Barometer survey, and is regularly in the top 10. We are a popular destination for international students from across the globe. We therefore welcome applications to our courses across all areas of Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Forensic Science, Food and Nutrition and Pharmacy.
Internationally excellent research
Our internationally recognised academic staff boast research outputs, which are judged internationally excellent in the UK's Research Excellence Framework and are published in the world's leading journals. Our staff also work on collaborative projects with research groups from leading universities in every continent from around the globe. International partnerships
We have partnerships and relationships with various universities and education institutions, including universities in Yangzhou and Guangzhou in China as well as in the Middle East. We also have strong links with international corporations from several countries. We are always keen to explore new partnerships with universities and international industries for research collaboration, student exchange and industrial staff training and upskilling.
