Apprenticeship fees, salary and funding

Fees

As an Apprentice you are not responsible to pay any of the apprenticeship fees. The apprenticeship course is funded via the Apprenticeship Levy.

Apprenticeship levy

The Apprenticeship Levy is paid by organisations whose annual wage bill is more than £3 million annually. 

This levy can then be used to pay towards the cost of an apprenticeship.

Salary expectations

As you will be learning on the job, your salary will be paid by your employer as normal and should be consistent with the role in which you are employed.

At the University, we do not dictate any salary expectations. However, we do expect it at least complies with the National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage.
