International Centre for Career Development

Welcome

The International Centre for Career Development is uniquely positioned between academic and professional education, research, innovation and practice. All members of the core team are research-active academics and qualified and experienced practitioners.

The Centre is academically led, but very deliberately close to strategy, policy and practice. This includes close partnership working with the University’s own Careers and Employability Service.

The core purposes of the Centre are:

  • To foster thoughtful, evidence based, research-informed innovation in the Careers and Employability space.
  • To inform and support our international professional community.

These purposes are directly reflected in all our activities, not least our postgraduate professional education programmes.
